The grand prize winner gets my last Pavones longboard, upon which I rode approximately 1,000 waves there, including my last, in mid-October, 2005. It will be refurbished by a character from Zero – Jim Goldberg, the commercial fisherman/ surfbuddy/board builder extraordinaire who helped me scuttle The Fucking Boat off Montauk in 1977. The board will be signed (to you) by Jim and myself.

The 2nd Prize winner:
Gets one of three existent Posters of Satellite Photographs of Pavones (by Joe Drake) – the location for many of the events of my book – with an inset of me surfing in front of the cantina (on the giveaway board). The 3rd Prize winner:
The winner will get the last hard copy working manuscript of Can’t You Get Along With Anyone? A Writer’s Memoir. This is the one my editor, Ian Alexander Martin and I used to come up with the finished book; complete with spelling and punctuation errors, irrelevant chapters, utter stupidities, and editorial comments by Ian and myself.

For every copy purchased you will get a chance in the draw. 2 copies = 2 chances. 3… well, you get it. And if you send someone to this page and tell them to put your name as the ‘referral’ when they buy book from my publisher, you’ll both get an entry into the drawing.
